Parking for disabled people
A general complaint about shopping centres is insufficient parking facilities for disabled people, or that nondisabled people abuse these facilities. At some centres, the parking facilities do not adhere to the minimum requirements in terms of length and width, and very often the reserved spaces are closed off, making access for disabled people difficult. AfriForum launched a campaign to create awareness for disabled people, as well as the challenges they face at shopping centres.
If you know of a shopping mall that makes it almost impossible for disabled people to access kindly contact AfriForum.
