Members of AfriForum’s Kraaifontein neighbourhood watch complete first aid course
Five members of AfriForum’s Kraaifontein neighbourhood watch completed a two-day first aid course the past weekend. This training was presented in conjunction with Wetton Emergency and Training Services.
The members received certificates afterwards and qualified as level 1 first aiders.
“The Kraaifontein neighbourhood watch reacts to several incidents and medical assistance is not always immediately available. It is important that the neighbourhood watch has the necessary medical knowledge to assist the community in this regard,” says André Theron, Chairperson of AfriForum’s Kraaifontein neighbourhood watch.
