AfriForum’s Kraaifontein branch launches clean-up action

The AfriForum branch in Kraaifontein on 1 December held a clean-up action in certain parts of the neighbourhood. This area includes Okavango Road and Brighton Street, as well as the channel next to Sarel van Deventer Road. 

“We live in a beautiful area, but it is systematically busy declining. We are tired of deterioration and instead of complaining we have decided to be part of the solution. In a short period of time half a trailer load of rubbish were picked up. We are planning on tackling similar projects next year,” says Christo la Grange, Chairperson of AfriForum’s Kraaifontein branch.

The branch is encouraging the community to become part of a sustainable solution: SMS “Skoon” to 45265 (R1) to become involved.
